I am currently a first-year
Ph.D. student at the
Department of
Computer Science, Wayne State University. My doctoral
advisor is Prof. Jing
Hua. I also appreciate
Prof.
Xianfeng Gu's guidance on computational geometry throughout
my research. So far, my work is primarily concentrated on the
Computational Human Brain Analysis, which includes automatic
brain feature extraction, geometry-based brain mapping,
statistical analyses of multimodal brain imaging data, as well
as many corresponding visualization problems. Besides that, I
still have great interests in some related fields, such as solid
modeling, computer vision, pattern recognition, image/video
compression, just to name a few. My Ph.D. studies are supported
by the prestigious Thomas C. Rumble Fellowship from university.
